Let us pray: We thank you, God, holy father, that you have given us your holy gospel and have poured your grace over us for the building of this church. We ask your all encompassing mercy. We ask you want to preserve such blessed light of your Word gracefully among us. Guide our hearts through your holy ghost, that we will not depart from it but firmly stand by it and will be saved through it, Jesus Christ, your son, our Father. Amen.

Let us pray: All powerful, eternal God, you have proclaimed to us forgiveness of sin, justice and eternal life through your son. We ask that you offer mercy to us and our descendants. We ask that your word will be proclaimed pure and loud in your church. Guide and stir up our hearts through your holy ghost, so that we may live godly as your children according to your word, until we finally join you in your heavenly kingdom, Jesus Christ, your son, our Father. Amen
