Life Certificate

Hannah, who emigrated to Texas in the year 1854, and is the surviving widow of George Lowke, formerly häusler in Klein Radisch near Kreba, who died and was buried here on 22 April 1861 married the miller Johann Mitschke in this church on 14 July 1861.

That this Hanna, formerly married to Lowke, now married to Mitschke, said in Europe to be dead, is still alive and a member of the local parish and as such is hereby requested, testified and certified with the church seal.

Hanna, hinterlassene Witwe des im Jahre 1854 nach Texas ausgewanderten und am 22. April 1861 all hier verstorbenen und beerdigten George Lowke, früher Häusler in Klein-Radisch bei Kreba, wurde am 14. Juli 1861 mit dem Müller Johann Mitschke in hiesiger Kirche getraut.

Daß diese Hanna, verehelicht gewesene Lowke, jetzt verehelichte Mitschke all hier, welche man in Europa tot sagte, noch am Leben und ein Glied der hiesigen Kirchgemeinde ist, solches wird auf Verlangen hiermit bezeuget und mit dem Kirchensiegel beglaubigt.
