The undersigned, on this day, have come to an agreement, for the time being, concerning the administration of the office of Cantor, as follows: Ernst Leubner and Carl Teinert will alternate in the Wendish worship services, so that on one or the other Sunday and Festival Day, one or the other will play and sing. In the German worship services, according to the rule, Ernst Leubner will take care of the duties of the Cantor, with the arrangement, that Carl Teinert could also, now and then, play and sing in the German worship service. Both have the freedom, upon mutual agreement, to change this alternation. In all cases of emergency, one can replace the other, so that the carrying out of the Cantor’s office can go forth unhindered. For Baptisms, weddings and funerals, those involved in the congregation are free to call on one or the other.

Die Unterzeichtenen sind heutiges Tage in Beziehung auf die Verwaltung des Cantoramtes für jetzt folgendermasen übereinge kommen: Ernst Leubner und Carl Teinert wechsele so im Wendischen Gottesdienst, das jeder einen Sonn und Festtag um den andern singt und spielt. Im Deutschen Gottesdienst besorge das Cantoramt in der Regel Ernst Leubner jedoch mit der Einrichtung, das auch Carl Teinert im Deutschen Gottesdienst mistunter spiele und singt. Beide haben die Freiheit, den Wechsel nach beliebigen Übereinkunft zu ändern. In allen Fallen der Noth nun das Belieben hat der ein den andern so zu vertreten, das die Verwaltung des Cantoramtes ungestört fortgehn. Bei Taufe, Trauungen, Begräbnissen ists den Betheiligten in der Gemeinde freigestellt den einen oder den andern zu berufen.
